De netwerkorganisatie ANTW4WVL (een samenwerking tussen de politiezones Antwerpen, Polder, RIHO, Vlas en Westkust) organiseert voor de vierde keer de International K9-DAY . Tijdens dit GRATIS evenement staan de HONDEN en hondengeleiders van verschillende veiligheidsdiensten centraal.
Tijdens diverse DEMO’S & TRAININGSSESSIES kunnen de bezoekers ontdekken tot wat de hondengeleiders en hun honden in staat zijn: speurwerk, pakwerk, patrouille, reddingsoperaties, … De honden en hun hondengeleiders zijn in heel wat verschillende disciplines een grote hulp voor veiligheidsdienste
Le Westerpunt est un escalier géométrique en pente douce qui vous emmène en hauteur depuis la promenade, jusqu’à ce que vous dominiez la plage, pour ensuite vous faire redescendre jusqu’à la plage située en contrebas ou la promenade. Il relie symboliquement la mer aux dunes, la nature à la côte, et les habitants entre eux.
La structure mesure 6 mètres de haut et est adjacente à la promenade en béton. Elle a été réalisée en béton, un matériau robuste qui s’intègre bien à la plage et aux dunes en termes de couleur et de texture, et qui est capable de résister aux agressions du climat maritime.

The exhibition shows the challenges, faced by several generations of Ukrainian photographers. Cyclical processes, historical events and unity erase the borderline between these generations. The collection of photos from the 1970s to present, from Boris Mikhailov to young emerging photographers, emphasises the spiral nature of the struggle for Ukraine’s independence and democratic development. The history of Ukraine is a struggle for the future, which continues through generations. Nous reconnaissons ici un clavier, mais sans les touches. Cela traduit-il l’incapacité d’exprimer une image par le langage ? Notre langage est-il par définition limité ? Ou existe-t-il un océan de possibilités encore inconnues qui s’offrent à nous ? Aujourd’hui, nous nous connectons au monde de manière numérique, ce qui présente des avantages et des inconvénients. Pour certains, cela entraîne une aliénation vis-à-vis de l’autre ; pour d’autres, au contraire, cela crée de nouvelles opportunités et une société plus inclusive. Cette œuvre d’art a vu le jour grâce à la coopération d’étudiants de l’institut de technologie de Bruges, l’artiste les ayant guidés sur le plan digital.
À travers la carcasse en béton, vous pouvez voir la mer d’un côté et le paysage urbain de l’autre. De cette manière, l’œuvre ressemble également à un immeuble d’habitation désaffecté.
Cette œuvre est conçue comme un pendant à l’œuvre de Jorge Macchi, Dictionnaire des mots morts, réalisée en 2023 : une installation sur un mur avec des niches contenant des lettres, comme les initiales sur le côté des pages d’un dictionnaire. L’homme a toujours eu un désir profond de collectionner les mots et les connaissances et de compiler des encyclopédies.
Balade de 8km à Coxyde par une météo printanière en suivant un circuit points-nœuds. Au total 12km sur la journée. Un vrai plaisir de retrouver le soleil et la luminosité …
